Nick Hogan Crash

In August of 2007, Nick Hogan, the son of famous WWE wrestler Hulk Hogan was in a horrible accident joy riding around town with a friend of his whom is still in the hospital. As you’ll see in the following photos, they are both lucky to be alive. Apparently Nick didn’t inherent any of his dad’s brains. Oh wait, he didn’t have any to begin with. Well Hulk, i guess this is what happens when your 17 year old gets behind the wheels of a modded Supra that looks to have over 500 HP and NO airbags. Oops.

Nick decided to write a blog post after the accident which went a little something like this:

omggggg its been forever since i blogged…hell i dont even know what blog means but i guess its where you write stuff for people to read

anyways my last one was before i even drove for mopar, if you check my pics youll see that i did end up driving for them for my amateur season and most of my pro rookie season. i recently left the mopar team tho…things didnt work out to well

but!….i picked up a new title sponsor…POLAROID! and started my own team with twin 350z’s pretty cool i know

anyways id like everyone to wish my luck for my 08 season and keep john graziano in your prayers”

…Genius material all the way.

This is old info and Polaroid denies it is sponsoring Nick Bolea.

Polaroid Says It’s Not Backing Bollea’s 2008 Race Season

Polaroid is not sponsoring Nick Bollea for the 2008 racing season, according to the company’s vice president of marketing, Cheryl Mau.

Mau sent an e-mail in response to an interview request. Mau declined to comment.

Bollea, son of famed wrestler Hulk Hogan, has Polaroid listed as a sponsor of his race car team, the Polaroid Drift Team, on his Web site, http://www.hogandrift.com.

Bollea, 17, boasted about his upcoming sponsorship on a blog on MySpace, according to TMZ.com, a celebrity Web site.

Bollea was speeding when he wrecked his 1998 Toyota Supra, critically injuring passenger John Graziano on Aug. 26, police said. Graziano, a 22-year-old Marine who served in Iraq, suffered brain damage in the accident, according to a family member.

After the accident, Bollea was supposed to drive in a drift show on Sept. 16 in Atlanta, according to Lukas Gilkey of Audio Junkies, who was at a car audio competition.

“I saw a 350Z with Polaroid on it and I knew who it belonged to,” said Gilkey, who took a picture of the Polaroid-sponsored car.

Hogan’s announcement of the sponsorship drew criticism from readers who’ve posted comments on the various Web sites, including TBO.com, planetfeedback.com and TMZ.com.

Efforts to reach Bollea’s attorney, Kevin Hayslett, were unsuccessful.

Graziano’s lawyer, George Tragos, said Tuesday that the young driver should keep a low profile until the matter is resolved.
