The energy crisis has made this week’s news rather productive in terms of new things to talk about. For instance, VW can now get you a penny pinching 235MPG, the all new hybrid supercar is coming out in September and most importantly, your average speed limit is probably going to change from here on out.

All this practical news aside, I can’t help but wave my little fanboy flag with joy and shout out to the heavens that the new Z4 looks absolutely friggin’ sweet!

Behold and bask in its glory.

When I saw this first spy photo, I quickly became engorged with a farmiliar sense of intense lust for possibly the coolest normal-person car on the planet. The best part is, they totally revamped the Z4 and made it even cooler than it was before! Now it’s going to have a hard-top convertible roof, a 3.0L twin-turbo straight-6 offering 302hp or even possibly a rumored 4.0L V8 giving this ride a massive 414hp. All of this, and they even managed to make the new edition of the Z4 look comparable to the Mustangs of the 60’s. If anything, it will go a lot faster and turn just as many heads. I know it would turn mine!

I only have one question: Can I get it with that paint job?
