Here’s a compilation of a bunch of cars that I’d like to see. Enjoy.

Honda CR-V Hybrid - Honda sources have denied plans to produce a Honda CR-V Hybrid. Honda’s small SUV already gets 20/26 miles per gallon. The CR-V has 5-star frontal and 5-star side-impact crash-test ratings. Imagine 27/32 miles per gallon with a CR-V. With Honda’s legendary quality and durability, a CR-V hybrid would sell off like hot cakes!

Volkswagen GTI Hybrid - VW has plans to produce a Diesel-Hybrid Golf, but the sporty edge of a GTI would be a greater base for a Volkswagen hybrid vehicle. A fun drive and a sporty package would rival the Honda Civic Si Hybrid [see below].

Honda Civic Si Hybrid - The Civic Hybrid is already a great seller. The Civic Si provides a tasteful sporty edge to one of America’s best-selling vehicles. Imagine sportiness and fuel-efficiency infused in one model. What a fun and conscience-clearing drive that would be. This would perhaps be more of a performance hybrid than a full hybrid, but there will always be a market performance hybrids. Refer to Lexus’ lineup of the LS600h L and GS450h.

Mazda Miata Hybrid - Mazda has created the Mazda Miata Hybrid Electric Ibuki Concept vehicle, but a mass-production Miata Hybrid would add a great branch to the Miata’s tree of history. Mazda might be able to produce an all-electric version to power this little monster, but the feel of that manual transmission and the zippiness through the curvy roads wouldn’t be the same.

Lexus IS350h - Lexus’ new sports sedan really adds a new edge to Lexus’s previously conservatively-designed IS300. They already have the technology to create performance hybrids. The hybrid IS would allow for Lexus fans to purchase a lower priced performance hybrid. The GS450h and LS600h L are a bit pricey and an IS350h or IS400h would challenge Tesla for the sharpest looking hybrid on the market.
