Last week I wrote about the new cars that will be featured in Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen according to various blogs across the internet. This week I’m going to share with you the cars I’d like to see next summer when Revenge of the Fallen hits theaters near you and I. At first I thought Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg should stockpile the movie with exotic cars across the board, but what fun would that be if the movie was filled with cars 95% of the viewers have ever touched? I think what makes the movie so great is that it’s got cars you and I see on the road every day and cars that friends of friends drive. I can’t relate to a battle between an army of Ferraris and Lamborghinis. And here we go:

Subaru WRX STi: I was looking for an Asian sports car that was common, but not so sporty that it would have to be a small bot again. The Solstice last time was nice, but the Autobot was a bit small. A Nissan 350z is too sporty for my taste, but an Infiniti G37 might do the trick too, but a nice Subaru would be legit. The beauty lies in the fact that the STi could simply be stock or fully custom and still look great as an Autobot.

What says “American SUV” more than the Ford Explorer? True, the Explorer has fell off the map a bit since its glory days 8 years ago, but this car will remain a classic American SUV for the ages. I’d rather it not be an Eddie Bauer edition however.

How about another bad-ass police ar to team up with the Ford Mustang? The Dodge Charger would fit the bill very nicely and increase publicity for Dodge. There is no other Dodge vehicle that I would put into the movie. The Durango and Ram just aren’t worthy of a spot. I don’t think either side would want them anyway.

I don’t expect to see Bruce Wayne and his Tumbler in Revenge of the Fallen, but if the Tumbler were an actual production vehicle for the military or something, then I would want to see it as a Decepticon. Afterall, it seems that all of the government-grade vehicles end up being bad guys anyway. Underlying message perhaps?

If there has to be another small car in the movie to replace the Pontiac Solstice, I want to see a Volkswagen GTI W12 take its place. The Chevy Beat is 100% an advertisement ploy the help GM boost their horrible sales. Put in a small car thats worth talkign about. A Mini Cooper S would be nice as well.
