I was searching around the site yesterday when I noticed that a lot of the “Browse Popular Makes” links had been redesigned and now feature channels for each of the major manufacturers. Instead of simply showing search results, the new channels are much funner to navigate and simply look cooler when you enter them.
I love the video that pits the new Audi R8 to a Corvette LS3 in a “Super Lap.” Classic American muscle versus new European power. Of course the R8 costs a ton more, but the Corvette puts up a good fight. In my mind, there is no car that offers more bang for the buck than the Chevrolet Corvette.
The BMW GINA Concept is one fascinating product of futuristic engineering. I’m not sure how it would do in safety tests, but it is one mouth-watering design. The new BMW 1-Series is only seriously sporty coupe. It beings its European strength to the American market. It will be interesting to see if it catches on as well here in the States as it has across the pond.
Excuse my drooling. I can’t decide which Ferrari I want to purchase after I win the lottery (twice). Maybe I’ll throw down for a Ferrari 599 GTB and drive it across the globe. Perhaps a chance at the Ferrari FXX? A 611 horsepower V12 engine sounds about right.
Back down to Earth in terms of affordability, Honda is one of the most legendary automakers today. This was the brand that said it would only stick to small engines and not produce cars and now it’s producing some of the world’s best-selling vehicles. Honda’s even built a few planes for good measure. Honda has the goods to travel the road, water, and sky. Next up: Time?
If Bruce Wayne drives a Lamborghini, then I see no problem with me driving one. I might not be a multi-billionaire business mogul by day, nor a super hero by night, but I - alright I give up. The Lamborghini Reventon is the baddest of Lamborghinis. Check out the Murcielago for good measure.
I’m looking forward to the rest of the channels in the future, but for the time being check out the previously mentioned channels and watch in awe as WebRidesTV dissects some of the hottest wheels around.
