Adding on to ededsu’s blog post about the cars in Transformers 2: Rise of the Fallen, here are more spyshots of the mechanical stars of the next movie! Credit goes to “Ricky C” over at slashfilm.com for getting these.

The Peterbilt truck that is Optimus Prime looks pretty much identical to last movie, same goes for Bumblebee’s Camaro disguise. This time around, they are joined by a couple extra cars, one being the ultra sleek Corvette Centennial Concept as well as two of the three “Chevrolet Global Concept” cars.

What roles these new transformers will be playing? Its safe to expect a ton of screen time for the new Corvette, as it is way too awesome of a car for anything less than a major role, and it’s unlikely that GM will let their 100th anniversary celebration car be portrayed as a villian (although it does look like Megatron’s style). It looks like the Beat (which looks like it just came off the set of The Fast & Furious) and Trax are going to serve as some sort of twin sidekicks for the Autobots, going off their matching aftermarket wheels.

No pictures yet of the other Transformers, although particularly attentive fans will be able to spot Ironhide’s GMC Topkick truck disguise peeking out behind Optimus Prime in the first pictures. Check out the rest of the Transformers 2 Cars!
