We all get mad when our team loses…these guys take it to a whole new level, check out the other video here

I’m not really sure what to think about this pair of videos that has been making its rounds on the internet over the last couple of days. While I do have some conflicting feelings, all of them are absolutely negative. Supposedly this video is capturing events taking place in the parking lot after the Giants lost to the Eagles; a bunch of drunken people rooting for the Giants got rowdy and started destroying a Porsche 911 convertible and a Toyota SUV. I’m not the biggest fan of the stuff Toyota churns out so I’m not sure which exact model it is; while the Porsche has the distinctive 911 back end, it is a bit hard to tell which vintage it is. In the first video we see a clear shot of the exhaust end of the car which does not help much; in the second one we can see the entire front end which makes me guess that it is a 997.

They really give it to the poor car with all sorts of weaponry including an aluminum baseball bat, some sort of rolling stand, a portable barbeque grille, a traffic cone, and even with their own bodies by delivering flying kicks right into the window. One of the men really shows their enthusiasm while working the engine bay with his bat as there is literally a shower of parts resulting from his work.

I have heard that this video is not what it appears to be; some reports say that the film makers are actually the owners of the cars. Why would they destroy their own cars in such a fashion? Apparently they did something to cause the cars to catch on fire, either parking on top of a burning charcoal grille or leaving a lit grille in the car after tailgating. I sure hope that this is the scenario that actually went down because vehicle vandalism definitely ranks up there among the most petty and shameful crimes. It’s the reason I’ll never display any stickers on my rides; you never know who will strongly oppose your beliefs and take out their childish anger on your property.

Even if it was true and they were just killing time while the tow truck arrived, it seems pretty stupid to put this video online. Why would you risk having your insurance claim denied for 5 minutes of internet fame?
