2010 Cadillac SRX

Check out the new luxury crossover from Cadillac, the 2010 SRX. What with crossovers being the new rage these days it is only a matter of time before any major automaker that wants to continue to hold on to its market share makes the decision to manufacture a crossover. Much like Chevrolet did with the 2010 Equinox,  Cadillac has followed suit with their new crossover, hit the jump for more info.

According to a General Motors press release, the 2010 model is set to replace the already existing SRX sport utility vehicle that has been in production since 2004. The new model, which is set to hit dealer showrooms in middle 2009, is smaller than the older model and based more on the size and shape of the Cadillac Provoq concept that made its way around the auto show circuit in 2008. The next-gen SRX is designed with a combination of luxury and performance in mind, with seating for five and plenty of cargo room promised by Cadillac.

With such new cars as the Euro-killing CTS-V and the more eco-friendly Escalade Hybrid out on the market today, it certainly seems that Cadillac is broadening their horizons in an effort to stay sustainable as well as profitable in such a competitive global market. Big_Blocker out.
