We all know of the exciting things Tesla Motors is doing for the Automotive world. Once again they are doing what they do best; showing people motors are the way of the future. Details are sparse on the newest concept; the Tesla Roadster Sport, but they have given a few specs on the vehicle. More on this after the jump.

So what could be better then a 2 seater motor driven car with a 0-60 in 3.9? HOW about 3.7 and adjustable dampners? I mean, the 2008 viper does it in 3.5, but at that speed it’s who is the better driver. Throw in a targa top, and a well layed out interior and you have a winning combination. As always, this car is projected to be out of the average consumers grasp with a price tag of $128,500. Then again, you could always sell those signed copies of Bee Gee’s records your wife has been hoarding for decades, right?

You may see these cars around town though; with an alleged 150 owners already having possession of these vehicles and 1,100 more to come. Not too bad for a company that just a few months ago was having a rough time with investors. This car is looking to take on the Nissan GTR, the Shelby GT500KR and just about any other super car you happen to see on the road. While it may not beat them all, it will certainly give them a run for their money! Since this is a zero emissions car, you don’t ever have to worry about smogging the car ever, which if you live in California, you understand the pain of dealing with that!
