Ferrari has confirmed that they will use the upcoming Geneva Motor Show to officially debut two of their newest cars: the 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE and the 599XX. The one we know more about is the 599 HGTE, which stands for “Handling GT Evoluzione”, because this handling package has previously been bestowed on other Ferraris like the 612 Scaglietti and the 575M. Comparable to sport packages offered on lower end cars like the Audi “S” line, the Fiorano HGTE will feature bigger wheels, revised aerodynamics, stiffer suspension, carbon fiber trim pieces in the interior, and a redesigned exhaust system. Based on the previous Ferrari handling packages, most enthusiasts are agreeing that there will be no additional power increase. To justify the 30,000 premium over a regular Ferrari 599 GT Fiorano, owners should be expecting upgrades similar to the F430 Scuderia! Read More >>

While some of you may have already seen the all-new 2009 BMW z4 Roadster, the refined droptop will be making its European debut at the Geneva Auto Salon in March. The German sports car will be powered by a sDrive 35i turbocharged 300 horsepower inline-6 cylinger engine that provides 300 ft-lb of torque at 1400rpm. Customers may also opt for a SDrive 30i engine (inline-6 255hp and 200f-lb or torque). The previous Z4 Roadster could only be paired with a 215hp or 255 hp engine. The new sDrive 35i boasts Valvetronic technology, which provides more performance and better fuel mileage. The renovated interior can be garnished with abrushed aluminum, ash grain wood trim, and multiple tints of premium leather. The best new feature on the Roadster is the hardtop roof that retracts to turn your daily commute into a daily thrill ride. The hardtop roof allowed BMW to sculp larger windows for better visibility. What makes the Z4 truly a fun drive is the Sport Button, which tunes the engine response and power steering to provide a more rugged, sensitive driving experience. Check out the 2009 BMW Z4 and all of its great new features here!

It was recently discovered that Pagani would be delivering a Zonda F Cinque to the Geneva Auto Salon showroom floor. The actual Zonda pictured above is the Zonda Cinque. While the Zonda Cinque will not be available for a year or so, Pagani is occupying the wait with the Zonda F. Based on the Zonda R, the Pagani Zonda F Clinque will reportedly sport a more Cinque-like exterior. Check out the original post here and don’t forget to check out the other cars coming to the Geneva Motor Salon.

This week we take a look at a car from a company that made a name for itself by making nothing but bland Rambler Wagons and Pacers. With gas being all, you know, expensive and whatnot, auto manufacturers are beginning to make a shift to more fuel-friendly motors. These days, the most popular kinds of vehicle to “cross over” to the green side of the force are the notorious gas-guzzlers themselves – the SUV. But are Crossover SUV’s really what the world needs?

This Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid that delivers 26+ mpg thinks so, but experts are becoming quite skeptical. What, with the (rolling eyes) great success of GM’s Flex Fuel program, and the other failures in the SUV and Crossover markets, you’d think that they’d get the idea.
