Never Been to Ohio

Sigh… the more things change… In case you’ve been living in a shack in Montana, the car above is the Euro-only Ford Focus RS. And it’s one of the most desirable cars on the planet. If you’re still in said shack, odds are your head just exploded because how could a Ford Focus ever be lustworthy? Easy — it’s not related to our dog-tired Domestic Focus in any way. In fact, the RS version has 305 hp turbo 2.5-liter 5-cylinder that serves up 325 lb-ft of the good stuff — at 3,000 rpm! Gulp. But all that power going to the front wheels? Well, it’s got Ford’s much ballyhooed RevoKnuckle McPherson-replacing front suspension and a Quaife limited slip diff to deal with the juice. And… you can’t have it. Pity that one of Ford’s best vehicles isn’t available in the United States. Kinda ironic, too. [Source: Autoblog]

  2. and every red blooded American is bitching about buying American… I would if they’d sell me the fun cars instead of the lemons!
