With rising gas prices worldwide, international automobile industries have focused on smaller, more fuel efficient cars. While the United States attempts to transform into a society of subcompact vehicles, the presence of larger trucks, SUVs, and even sedans make small cars like the Tata Nano a safety risk. Imagine a BMW 7-Series colliding with a Tata Nano from any direction. While the Tata Nano may have passed European testing, it will be hard pressed to pass my own gut check. The video above makes the Nano look like a little mouse bouncing off a vertical trampoline.
