If there’s a replacement for displacement, we haven’t figured it out yet. In that vein, the crazy kids at ShakWerks have worked up a new engine kit for the Porsche GT3 RS. On top of adding in a full extra .3 liters of sweep, the crew took full advantage of some new software out just for the flat six. Called EVOMSit, the car can be tuned for either 91 or 93 octane depending on what’s available in your area. Better living through technology? Absolutely. Bumping the power up by 87 horsepower is no easy feat, and while SharkWerks isn’t saying just how much the work will set you back, odds are it’s worth the coin. Hop the jump for a look at the car in action. [Source: SharkWerks]

this is a phenomenal build! The crew at SharkWerks sure as hell know what they’re doing! I also love the video and how it was filmed. Showing everything about the build and seeing how it performs on the track was awesome! Seeing dyno numbers is one thing but seeing it go against a stock GT3 RS really showed what a difference the tuning made! Two thumbs up for this post!
Thanks so much for the kind words fellas… She’s a real hoot and we’re building a couple more of these this month;)
Great site btw!
Hey you guys deserve it! It’s hard to turn something like a GT3 RS into an even more badass car! Let alone all of the other Porsche’s you guys have built. Keep doin what you’re doin! Goin back out to Willow anytime soon?
