Brabus is planning to show off some hot hardware at the next Essen Motor Show. The tuner renowned for tweaking the best Mercedes-Benz has to offer has previewed its take on the company’s E63 AMG. Instead of dropping in a mammoth 12-cylinder engine, Brabus has actually stuck with the stock V8 with sport air filters and a reworked ECU for slight nudge in power. For the most part, we dig on the body kit, though we could do without those carbon fiber fender ducts and blocky grille. Those 20-inch wheels are mighty fine, though. What’s with the grey block in the grille front and center? And the carbon fiber bits? These body kits are supposed to enhance the design, not crap all over them. Are these guys serious?
its the distronic sensor..
Ya I’m not diggin the front grille OR the wheels……Aside from those easy fixes, I like the body kit on it. Not too flashy yet it adds just enough flavor!
