Volvo may not be the first brand to come to mind when you think stylish, sexy transportation, but the Swedish company’s latest products aim to change that. The first shots of the 2010 S60 just hit the web and show a sedan that’s shirked the boxy confines of its predecessors for a more slippery design. As cool as the exterior is, Volvo says the car will come packed with cutting edge tech – including a modified version of its City Safety. Whereas the old system was good for detecting stopped objects in front of the vehicle and activating the car’s brakes before a collision, the S60 will come with Pedestrian Detection to limit the number of people/car collisions. Pretty cool. Check the gallery for more shots. [Source: Volvo]
