Just how much power is the 2.0-liter turbo four-pot in the VW Golf capable of? Wimmer RS is doing its best to find out, and so far has come up with 386 horsepower out of the tiny mill. That’s a full 176 more ponies than VW sees fit to give the tiny hatch, and Wimmer says it’s managed to do the deed with a new turbo, reworked ecu and exhaust system. Outside, the car looks mostly stock, though a set of adjustable coilovers will let you drop the car to the pavement if the mood strikes you. We’ve got to wonder just how bad the torque steer is on this thing, though. [Source: Wimmer]
