The crew at 9ff is responsible for some pretty wicked machines, and the tuning company’s latest creation has the distinction of being the world’s fastest Porsche 911. The TR-1000 is a standard 911 worked up to 1,000 horsepower lather. The 3.6-liter flat six cylinder engine makes use of two mammoth turbos, unique cams, management and a forged crankshaft capable of taking a serious beating. The end result is a car capable of clipping off a top speed of 243.4 mph. The team says it’s not done yet, though. After reworking the cars aero bits, 9ff will be back at the track to shoot for the all-important 250 mph limit. [Source: InsideLine]
