The Lexus LFA is something of a quandary. Yes, it’s as fast as a bottle rocket on steroids. It packs a number of engineering innovations, including more carbon fiber than should be legal and an LCD gauge display that makes Steve Jobs jealous. But it’s also insanely expensive, especially given the car’s performance. It’s true the V10 in the car was handed down straight from the car gods themselves, but in the end, the figures match up with comparable, cheaper metal from the Prancing Horse or the Raging Bull.
