If you’ve followed my interweb musings long enough, odds are you know I once owned a track rat Honda Civic. While the car was perfect to learn the ropes of the local NASA chapter, it was painfully front wheel drive. I couldn’t pony up the scratch for an LSD transmission at the time, so when the going got slippery the car was Peg Leg Pete in the worst way possible. I always looked longingly at the AWD Civics of old, wondering if I was brave enough to cut an EG so the go bits would bolt up. Sadly, I never got around to that project.
