Happy Thursday Web Rides faithful, Big_Blocker here with the newest installment of Muscle Car of the Week and this week the feature car is one of my personal favorites due to one thing: torque. Hit the jump to read more about this torque monster that could keep pace with a 440-6 pack Challenger in the 1/4 mile. Read the rest of this entry »

Howdy Webriders! Dr. VW here for this week’s Foreign Fridays! As I was trolling across the net reading up on the various bits of news coming in from across the globe, I came across an article on MotorTrend’s website about the new Toyota iQ. Now I’ve seen and read about the iQ before, but it was one of those quirky cars that just would never make it here in America. Or so I thought. Hit the jump for the story– I couldn’t make this stuff up folks. Read the rest of this entry »
Happy Friday Web Riders, Big_Blocker (a day late) here with this week’s installment of Muscle Car of the Week and this week we have another small block screamer for all those Trans Am fans out there. That’s right, Ford had an answer for the high winding small blocks from Chevrolet and Chrysler and it came in the form of one badass looking Stang. Hit the jump to read more. Howdy Webriders! Dr. VW here. Long time no see! Anyways, I’m back for an Auto Adventure. Everyone knows what time of year it is. The big Auto Shows are set to begin, Paris, LA, Frankfurt; and that means new car unveilings! A few always get leaked or purposely released ahead of time like the Lamborghini Estoque and the new Mazda 3, but most refrain from showing off their new models until the show opens. Hit the jump to find out Dr. VW’s picks for most likely to have a badass new ride! Read the rest of this entry »
Happy Tuesday Web Riders, Big_Blocker here for a look at a vehicle I just found out even existed yesterday. When cruising through the WRTV forums I came upon a thread that had a gallery of an oddly shaped SUV that looked like an older Jeep on a heavy dose of Human Growth Hormone (sorry Roger Clemens). Well I did some research and found out that my initial assumption wasn’t too far off. Hit the jump to read more. Read the rest of this entry »
Alright, it’s Thursday and that means a new installment of Muscle Car of the Week. This week we take a look at a sweet Dodge E-Body that shares its platform with a car featured not but a few weeks ago, except this time it is from the boys over at Dodge. MOPAR fans assemble, today we look at the 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T 440 6 pack. Hit the jump. Read the rest of this entry »

Howdy Webriders! Dr. VW here for this weeks installment of Foreign Fridays! This week, we’ll take a look at essentially the only new car I would seriously consider purchasing off the lot. The combination of power, aesthetics, and straight shooting performance at a reasonable price get me all goosepimply. Feast your eyes on the 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback by Ralliart! I know it has been a little while since the last installment of Muscle Car of the Week, but do not fret, it is back with a vengeance. The car featured this week is one that few people have ever heard of which is precisely why it has been chosen (much like many of the other cars featured). Many are familiar with the big block Nova’s of the late 1960’s with their 396 or 427 (Yenko/Baldwin Motion) V8’s, but how about a small block screamer that hauled groceries as well as ass in 1966? Greetings, Big_Blocker here with more interesting truck news. Some of you who read my blog last week on the new variation of the Ford F150 will squeal with delight when you read this. Likewise if you are a MOPAR fan like I am, you will be very interested as to what is going on over at Dodge in terms of the new 2009 Ram. For a look at what the Ram will bring to the table this next year, hit the jump. Read the rest of this entry »

Howdy Webriders! Dr. VW here with this week’s edition of Foreign Fridays! As 2008 comes to a close (relatively), we’re beginning to see the final production photographs for many models. Today we’re going to talk about two cars that will not be making it to our shores, but were interesting enough to warrant discussion. One is definitely a sexy little hatch that I WISH would be brought over to America, and the other is well… an abortion that somehow made it through to production that I can only hope will never be brought here for any reason. Hit the jump to check em out. Read the rest of this entry »
