Here it is, kids. Tanner Foust has finally dropped the video of his sideways antics on Mulholland drive. The guy managed to shut down two miles of the legendary LA road in order to take his NASCAR V8-powered RWD Scion tC out for a little play time. The results are pretty much what you’d expect from 600 horsepower and one of the finest talents behind the wheel anywhere — pure awesome. Hit the jump to check it out for your self. Looks like Tanner Foust has been busy. The guy just dropped a teaser on the world featuring everyone’s favorite NASCAR V8-powered Scion tC sliding its way up Mulholland Drive. That’s right, Foust is taking drifting back to where it started – tearing ass through mountain twisties with nothing between you and oblivion but a thin slice of guard rail. Looks damn hot to us. Now this is the kind of comparison we can get behind. Motor Trend decided to put the Nissan GT-R up against Scion’s drift racers, including Tanner Foust’s NASCAR V8 powered tC. Why? Who knows? The crew tested things like 0-60 times, braking distances, skid pad figures and quarter mile times before letting everyone evaporate their rear tires. Pointless? You bet, but it’s damn fun to watch. We’ve just rolled out a new video of this year’s Formula Drift championship. Hostess with the mostest Kerryann De La Cruz interviews big names like Tanner Foust, Samuel Hubinette, Vaughn Gitten Jr., and privateer Joon Maeng on the run up to the final show down, and even has a word with this year’s champ – Chris Forsberg. There’s plenty of sweet shots of the guys getting sideways around Irwindale, including the Gitten Jr. upset. Whether you’re a drift nut or a casual observer, the video after the jump is worth catching.
